Voluntary scientific year (FWJ)

"Researchers on trial"

In Lower Saxony, those interested in the MINT field have the opportunity to get a taste of the everyday life of a scientist for 6 or 12 months after completing their Abitur. During this time, they learn about scientific professions and benefit from close contact with the scientists at the institute. The FWJ in Hannover is coordinated by the Hannover Medical School (MHH).

Lea Kötters joined the Laser Components and Fibres group on 1 September. For one year she will be part of the group and work on the fabrication of novel optical fibres.

Welcome Lea.
