Institute of Quantum Optics

Research at the Institute of Quantum Optics focuses on highly controlled interaction of light and matter. Typical topics are the physics of ultracold quantum gases, quantum logic spectroscopy based on cooling and trapping of ions dealing with fundamental principles of physics, the physics of ultrashort laser pulses and the control of plasmas in the sub-femto region and applications of nonlinear optics in medical therapy and diagnostics. The institute also provides central parts of the education within the Bachelor and Master courses in physics and related topics.

Lehramtsstudierende für Homeschooling-Projekt gesucht!

Der Familienservice der Leibniz Universität Hannover sucht Lehramtsstudierende zur Teilnahme am Homeschooling-Projekt der Leibniz Universität Hannover. Es geht darum, Kinder im Alter von 6 - 11 Jahren von Beschäftigten der Leibniz Universität Hannover beim Homeschooling zu betreuen. Das Projekt ist vom 31.08.2020 bis zum 09.10.2020 geplant. Verlängerung ist möglich.

Die Kinder sollen an bis zu 5 Tagen in der Woche für jeweils 3 Stunden in Kleingruppen bis max. 8 Kindern, entweder am Vormittag oder am Nachmittag betreut werden. Die Betreuung wird durch jeweils zwei Betreuungspersonen gewährleistet. Das Programm umfasst gemeinsames Lernen, Schulaufgabenbetreuung und die Durchführung von Lernspielen.
