Glaukom-AF - TP LUH
The project is developing a novel, smart glaucoma implant that addresses both main problems of current solutions: prevention of scarring and individually adjustable pressure regulation.
Laser-Tissue-Perfuse
Building 3D vascularised organs remains the major unsolved challenge to be overcome in biofabrication and tissue engineering. Establishing blood vessels capable of efficient transport of gas, nutrients, and metabolites to and from cells is a prerequisite for the survival of tissue constructs, both in vitro and when transplanted in vivo.
Scientific Training for Post-Translational Modification Detection in Cancer Screening (STRIM)
The STRIM Training Network “Scientific Training for Post-Translational Modification Detection in Cancer Screening” is a consortium of world leaders in bioinformatics and biomarkers discovery, bioreceptor selection and design, nanofabrication and electrode production, biosensor development, cancer research, and health technology assessment from 6 universities, 2 companies, 3 medical research centers and 2 hospitals. The STRIM consortium trains 13 Doctoral Candidates (DCs) who gain access to state-of-the-art equipment and will obtain a unique scientific, technical, industrial, and entrepreneurial training.
